In 1989, as a twenty year homage to the Rolling Stones visit to Morocco in 1969 with Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood spent a week in the house recording Continental Drift for the Steel Wheels album with the local Jajouka musicians. The acoustics in the main courtyard were incredible for the song and the ambiance. Paul Bowles came along to hang out and the house rocked and rolled.
